Teased via European retailer Offspring’s Instagram earlier today, two new colors of the 2017 Air Max 1 Anniversary will be releasing later this Fall in both “Hunter Green” and “Magma Orange” colorways. Retailing for $140 USD, these shoes follow the same general design as their 30th-anniversary counterparts albeit in different shades this time around.
White, satin-like polyester is used for the tongue, ankle collar, shoelaces, and toebox while the lacestays and heel tab are done in a beige suede. Elsewhere we see the ankle collar’s lace holes, Swooshes, mudguard and all embroidered text done in either Magma Orange or Hunter Green respectively. A standard white foam midsole with an exposed window for the translucent white Nike Air unit in the heel appears just above a Black/Magma Orange or Black/Hunter Green outsole. Both iterations of this timeless 1980s classic are a perfect fit year-round in anyone’s footwear rotation. Stay tuned to SoleSsavy for further release details.
