Take a look at the official images of the Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk in “Green Strike”, “University Blue”, and “University Gold” colorways below.
Initially teased back at the start of 2020 at Nike’s New York Fashion Week showcase, the Off-White™ x Nike Air Rubber Dunk in “Strike Green” is confirmed to release on October 1st. This shoe marks Virgil Abloh’s first signature sneaker for the Swoosh rather than collaboration on a previously existing Nike or Jordan Brand silhouette. As its name suggests, the shoe’s entire upper is made up of black rubber with additional neon green rubber piping throughout. Neon green piping is featured prominently on the outsole, Swoosh, tongue tag, and “shoelaces” text. Additional neon green piping is placed throughout the medial and lateral sides as well as the toebox. Unlike a regular Dunk, the double-stacked midsole here also sports an exposed Air unit in the heel like an Air Jordan 3 or 4 would. Extended lacestays wrap around the sides of the shoe creating an exterior cage in the process. Abloh’s signature orange tab and medial panel text are present as usual while the tongue now reads “NIKE OFF” as opposed to “Nike Air”.
