Just like last year, Casablanca is getting the distinct honor of debuting an all-new silhouette from New Balance. Dubbed the New Balance 237, the model takes some visual inspiration from last year’s 327 silhouettes but with a far more minimalist design flair. The uniquely shaped midsole and extended outsole are replaced with a simple foam midsole and regular length outsole. The upper of the Casablance iteration dons a perforated base throughout with extra paneling added at the heel and mudguard. Casablanca’s monogrammed textiles are added here in lieu of traditional materials, adding a luxurious feel to the understated silhouette. Oversized “N” logos appear on the medial and lateral sides of the shoe in white leather with a soft pink outline. This same shade of pink is applied sparingly to the midsole while the tongue adds another layer of visual flair with further monogrammed textiles.
