The Whitaker Group has been having an incredible year with a slew of impeccable releases across its umbrella including Penny 1s and Penny 2s from Social Status and a limited Nike Air Ship from A Ma Maniere. AMM is following up its Air Jordan 2 collaboration with a remix of the Air Jordan 4.
Where the past silhouettes have featured white bases with accents of burgundy the upcoming A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 features the purple-ish shade as a base color on its premium leather base. The midsole is where the brand’s typically signature cream coloration comes in giving it a distinctive look and vibe from the rest of A Ma Maniere and Jordan Brand’s work. The silhouette is packed with A Ma Maniere’s luxurious details like metal branded emblem on the lateral heels, quilted insoles and sockliners, and “Nike Air” branding on the heels.
Other details including hidden messages behind the back tabs that say It’s about where you’re going” and “It’s not about the shoes.” Co-branded tongues, hangtags, and special packing complete the package. The A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 “Violet Ore” is set to release November 24 via AMaManiere.com and Nike. The retail price has been set at $225.
