Aime Leon Dore x New Balance P550 Basketball Oxford Releasing October 9th

Following last week’s teaser, Aimé Leon Dore’s next New Balance collaboration is set to release on Friday, October 9th. 2020. The shoe in question is an updated reissue of the little-known 1989 P550 Basketball Oxford, a low-top sneaker from New Balance Basketball’s original lineup. The shoe will arrive in four different colorways: white/red, white/green, white/navy, and white/grey. Each colorway comes with a yellowed Sail midsole and laces as a nod to the vintage silhouette’s age. Each shoe’s upper is made up of fine-grain. white leather with perforations across both lateral and medial sides. The embroidered “550” on the lateral toe, the “N” logos, and all other colored accents are done in their respective colorways’ titular shade. A co-branded New Balance / Aimé Leon Dore tongue tag completes the look. Stay tuned to SoleSavy for further release details.
