No one could have predicted that in 2020 there would be such a demand for not only Air Jordan 1 Highs, but low and mid cuts as well. Jordan Brand is taking full advantage of this slow surge in momentum and creating more and more AJ 1 Mids that help break the stigma behind the revisioned classic. The latest addition to this ongoing journey is an upcoming pack of AJ 1 Mid SEs constructed from multiple different premium materials.
Pictured below, the AJ 1 Mid SEs arrive in a mixture of premium suede, nylon, ribbed knit, and leather, each combined together to create some unique color blocking. The first pair features a muted mustard yellow for the majority of its upper, appearing on the shaggy suede heels, toebox, lace collar, and the lower portion of the lacestays. Matching, tonal yellow is also applied to the tumbled leather which appears upper half of the lacestays as well as the medial and lateral Swooshes. A smooth light grey leather is used for the mudguards and side paneling while a standard nylon tongue keeps things looking uniform. This same mixture of materials is used on the pack’s Blue pair but swaps yellow suede overlays for multiple shades of baby blue across a beige colored base. Both pairs release later this week as a tentative EU exclusive August 14th, 2020 for $110 USD.
