Jordan Brand is going into the archives this holiday season.
In addition to the Air Jordan 1 High “Chicago” return, another “Chicago” classic is coming back. The Air Jordan 2 “Chicago” is releasing this holiday season, capping off the silhouette’s resurgence that kicked off in late 2021 with Virgil Abloh’s OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 2 Low renditions.
Following a handful of collaborations since then, it’s only fitting to bring back the OG “Chicago” Air Jordan 2. Last seen in 2010, the second member of the Air Jordan line is receiving its long & overdue flowers. The upcoming AJ2 “Chicago” will be mimicking the 1986 version, continuing the brand’s push for perfecting original silhouettes and colorways.
A release date for the Air Jordan 2 “Chicago” has been set for December 30 via Nike and select retailers. A retail price tag of $200 has been set. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
Update (9/2) The upcoming Air Jordan 2 “Chicago” will come in original Jordan 2 packaging and includes a booklet with the design history of the Air Jordan 2. Take a look at the images via the staunchest advocate of the Air Jordan 2 scollard23.
