The Air Jordan 6 will forever be a classic for the brand and its fans. From its original colorways such as “Infrared” and “Carmine” to the importance in MJ’s legacy as his Airness won his first of six championships in the Air Jordan 6, the Tinker Hatfield creation continues to be relevant for the brand and its annual releases.
In 2010, Air Jordan 6 released a new version of the AJ6 with the “Oreo” version, which adopted the “Carmine” colorblocking and used a black with white paint splatter instead of the red. More than two decades after its release, another “Oreo”-themed Air Jordan 6 is releasing.
The Air Jordan 6 “Red Oreo” is coming soon with a white leather upper featuring a red with white paint splatter print. The shoe’s colorblocking mirrors the Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” from 1991 and saw its first retro run in 2015. The AJ6’s signature icy outsole completes the colorway.
The Air Jordan 6 “Red Oreo” releases on June 25 for $200 on SNKRS and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
