The Born x Raised x Nike SB Dunk Releases on September 28

UPDATE (9/19/2023): Born x Raised took to Instagram to announce that their highly anticipated Nike SB Dunk collaboration will release on September 28.

UPDATE (6/6/2023): According to a Nike statement issued to Complex, the release of the Born x Raised Nike SB Dunk Low has been postponed. This news comes after the tragic news that Born X Raised Founder Chris “Spanto” Printup died in a car accident.

Spanto’s Born x Raised brand has been celebrating Los Angeles since 2013. After footwear collaborations with Reebok, Vans, Converse, and more, the Venice-born brand is adding its twist to the Nike SB Dunk Low.

The sneaker is constructed with a white leather base, mesh tongues, and blue nubuck overlays. The message ”One Block at a Time” appears embroidered on the tip and the “Born SB” branded tongue tag. “In Loving Memory” is heat pressed into the shoelaces, which are finished off with Born x Raised branded tips. The heel includes “On The Turf” 3D text on the midsole that also appears printed on the sneaker’s inner tongue tags.

The most dynamic details on the sneaker are the unique perforations on the toebox and top eyelets and the holographic swoosh and heel tag, which has “Born SB” on one and normal Nike SB branding on the other. The look is completed by a white midsole and semi-transparent blue outsole.

The draw for the Born x Raised x Nike SB Dunk Low opens on July 21st at 10 a.m. on the Nike SNKRS app. They will also be available to purchase at select skate shops for $130.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
