Chase Young is a rising star in the National Football League and the face of the Washington Commanders’ defense, but that’s not enough. Young and Klutch Athletics have announced that the 24-year-old is signing with New Balance, introducing the Boston-based footwear company onto the football field.
Young will be joining Klutch Athletics by New Balance, a new division under New Balance founded by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.
The young defensive lineman is exceptionally talented and has shown extraordinary promise on the field. As a rookie for the Commanders, Young was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and selected to the Pro Bowl.
In this partnership, Young will work directly with New Balances’ design team to create the brand’s first-ever American football cleat. New Balance is expecting to have a final product ready to go by next season.
Klutch Athletics will drop their first batch of apparel on April 27, 2023, at 10 am Eastern, exclusively on the New Balance website.
