As an extension of our ongoing partnership with Legitmark, we’re excited to provide free digital sneaker authentication in the COLLECT app for everyone. To claim the free authentication, COLLECT users can use code FREETRADES at checkout during the authentication process on the Legitmark app.

How do I authenticate my sneakers in COLLECT?
In an effort to build a safer sneaker marketplace, Legitmark authentication can now be initiated directly in app.
Here’s how it works:
- Tap ‘Launch Legitmark’ in your COLLECT listing to open the Legitmark app.
- Find the sneaker you’re looking to authenticate.
- Follow the step-by-step guide in order to capture the correct photos and angles.
- When you reach the payment page, use code FREETRADES to pay $0 for your authentication.
- Sit back and let Legitmark do the work. You’ll receive a confirmation email of your order.
- If any additional photos are required, Legitmark will reach out for additional images.
- Get Your Certificated ID back in as little as 12 hours.
- Once authenticated on Legitmark, you will receive a ‘Certificate ID’ that you can add to your COLLECT listing. The best part about this feature is that ID will transfer ownership if you choose to sell or trade your sneaker.
Our retail-or-less pricing policy means that most listings on COLLECT are low risk for fraud. We chose to make authentication optional to save collectors time and money on the majority of your purchases. However, we do recommend using the feature when dealing with higher-ticket items for that extra peace of mind.
