How to Import US PO Box Orders via Truck Service

I owe everyone some info on how I trucked all my PO box purchases from the US to Canada…

Luckily for me, my PO box was really helpful. They work directly with Transgroup (http://www.transgroup.com/transborder_canada_en.aspx) for trucking product across the border.

How it works:
  1. Talk to your PO box and make sure they can organize all your items into one stack.
  2. Then ask them if they have a trucking company they work with who can send it up. If not try contacting http://www.transgroup.com/transborder_canada_en.aspx and see if they can pick up.
  3. I paid Transgroup $60 for up to 100lbs of product so the more you have the better.
  4. You then contact border buddy and provide them a list of everything you are looking to import and provide receipts. They also need the address of every company you are buying from which is annoying as F. For example I picked a KITH retail locations for KITH online orders and it was fine. for SNKRS I used Nike HQ in Beaverton.
  5. Border Buddy can guide you through whats need, how it works etc. They were good about it but slow. Took about 5 days to get my paperwork done. If you are in BC you can email [email protected] ATTN: cherie in the title and she can help
  6. Border Buddy charges about $40 to do all the paperwork and brokerage.
  7. Then they send paperwork to your PO box or the trucking company and they take care of the rest from there.
  8. Once my paperwork was done my packages were picked up and delivered the next morning.
You pay taxes for everything. In my case, I had a ton of stuff and paid $500 CAD in taxes but w/e. I would have paid the same tax crossing the border anyways. The $110 I paid to TransGroup and Border Buddy saved me 4 hours of time driving, crossing, picking up etc.
All in all a smooth experience for me and I will probably never cross the border again for the sole purpose to pick up. I’ll wait for stuff to pile up and then send it over in one big truckload.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
