The renowned barber from the Windy City is merging his love for skating & automobiles for this upcoming One Star collection. Inspired by the restoration and modification TV series Overhaulin’, Jasper takes a retro and combines it with modern tech.
The Ibn Jasper x Converse One Star arrives in two colorways. The collaborative shoe includes a reinforced heel, mimicking a car’s rear bumper. Additionally, the pair features a toe-box, mudguard, heel counter, and 3M piping for a reflective finish. Luxury is also included as pearl snake, tumbled leather, terry cloth interior, cork insole with OrthoLite foam, and a polyurethane Zoom Strobel insole, resembling the foam mat that hairstylists stand on.
The Ibn Jasper x Converse One Star collection releases on May 20 for $150 on Converse.com and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
