Javon “Wanna” Walton, star of Euphoria, joins Jordan Brand as its youngest-ever ambassador. The actor and boxer joins a stacked roster that just added Kiki Rice as its first NIL signing. As well as Paolo Banchero, the number one overall pick of the Orlando Magic, and 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel.
In July, the 16-year-old appeared in the campaign for the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha,” which also included the short film “Don’t Get Caught,” according to Walton’s interview with Footwear News is when discussions of signing with Jordan Brand began.
“Reggie Saunders [Jordan Brand VP of entertainment marketing] was really pushing for me. Jordan Brand saw my abilities in the boxing and acting spaces, and saw that I was really trying to do something special and that I am doing something special,” Walton said. “I’m not just out here trying to do what’s normal. I want to make a huge difference in all different aspects and areas in my life. I think that’s why Jordan wanted to sign me.”
