Despite Air Jordan retros regularly selling out for decades now, Jordan Brand continues to cook up new designs to serve its consumers. The latest comes on the Stadium 90 silhouette that manages to take inspiration from iconic MJ-worn sneakers without going full fusion mode. Part of the brand’s 23E, the Stadium 90 is a low-top trainer reminiscent of late 80s and early 90s Nike styles. Coming in a clean White and Sail colorway, the new silhouette utilizes Formula 23 cushioning, premium suedes and leathers, and fan-favorite “Nike Air” branding. The Jumpman logo is noticeably absent from the design, instead replaces with MJ’s signature on the outer tongue.
For its debut limited release on May 5, the Stadium 90 will be exclusive to all physical Social Status locations and online at socialstatuspgh.com. To celebrate the launch, Social Status and The Whitaker Group have tapped Carolina creatives Marc Prosper, Kalin Renee Devone, and Camille Hughes to host a skills-sharing workshop at beSocial Charlotte on May 6.
