The new docuseries “The Last Dance” recently aired its first two episodes and has already begun to stir buzz over its unseen, behind the scenes footage and revealing interview segments. There seem to be as many iconic sneaker moments as there are pieces of NBA history. One sneaker moment of note is subtle and intriguing all the same and occurs during one of Michael Jordan’s interviews. In said interview, the Jumpman himself can be seen wearing an unreleased pair of clean, triple white Jordan 1s.
Confirmed via Nike, the sneaker in question is dubbed the Air Jordan 1 Center Court. At first glance, this may look like your typical AJ 1 Low but it is, in fact, a totally unique model of its own. Inlays reminiscent of the Jordan Wings logo are attached to the heel and the toebox is smooth; void of the perforations found on other AJ 1s. No news has been revealed yet regarding whether or not this teaser implies they will be releasing at some point or if these are strictly meant for Friends & Family of Jordan Brand.
