New Balance has more in-store for the famed 2002R. In addition to in-line drops like the “Protection Pack” to collaborations with the likes of Salehe Bembury, the silhouette has amassed a respective following.
With the fall & winter months on the horizon, the Boston-based brand is spinning the 2002R in a mule version. The 2002R Mule features the same properties and tech as its regular version — the difference lies in the shoe’s lowered & sculpted heel. Dressed in a primarily black suede upper with white & grey details, the New Balance 2002R Mule “Black” will be the ideal everyday sneaker(?) for the latter months of the year.
A release date for the New Balance 2002R Mule “Black” has not been announced. However, we expect the pair to release on NewBalance.com and select retailers in the upcoming weeks. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
