New Balance’s on-court presence continues to flourish. From young talent like Darius Bazley and Dejounte Murray to the fortitude that is Kawhi Leonard, the Boston-based brand keeps putting numbers on the board.

With round one of the playoffs underway, New Balance and Kawhi Leonard introduce the New Balance KAWHI “Moreno Valley” colorway.

Inspired by his hometown, the latest colorway of his signature KAWHI collection features the City of Moreno Valley official seal on the tongue of the shoe which Kawhi personally secured approval from the city to use on the shoe. The colors of the seal are pulled into the rest of the shoe with the teal blue of the southern California sky reigning supreme throughout.

Along with the shoe, Kawhi and New Balance, together with the NBA 2K Foundation will also be donating a basketball court and playground to Moreno Valley’s Weston Park. It’s a testament to Kawhi’s commitment to his roots in Moreno Valley and not letting his success overshadow the importance of making a positive impact in the community.

The New Balance KAWHI “Moreno Valley” is available now for $160 on NewBalance.com and releases at select retailers starting June 1.
