Nike is getting wild with its upcoming Air Max 97. As the silhouette celebrates its 25th anniversary next year with the return of the “Atlantic Blue” and “Silver Bullet” colorways, we’re at the cusp of more noteworthy AM97 releases heading into 2022.
Before the year ends, the Swoosh is releasing an Air Max 97 coated in a “safari” print. While the “Safari” print is most known across atmos collaborations, this upcoming general release is one to keep an eye on. The forthcoming Nike Air Max 97 “Safari” is built with waxed-like molded material on its mudguard. The upper is dressed in the safari print that extends onto the insoles. The shoe also includes sail on the midsole, red details on the Nike Air branding, and has 3M hits on the laces.
The Nike Air Max 97 “Safari” releases before the end of 2021 for $170 on Nike.com and at select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
