2022 is the year of the Nike Air Penny 1.
Alongside the impending return of ‘Orlando’ and ‘Home’ colorways and the upcoming Social Status ‘Recess’ collection Nike is reviving the Nike Air Penny 1 ‘All-Star.’ Penny debuted the colorway all the way back in 1996 during the All-Star game in San Antonio and has most recently returned in 2014.
The silhouette comes in a mostly black construction with a nubuck upper. Blue piping that matches the Orlando Magic colorway appears on the side as well as the Swoosh on the tongue. Penny’s One Cent logo features on the heel of the shoe in the white and blue of his squad while a hit of metallic silver on the swoosh completes the look.
A release date of the Nike Air Penny 1 “All-Star” has been set for December 6 via Nike and select retailers. The retail price has been set at $170.
