The Nike Blazer has been one of the hottest silhouettes from the Swoosh thanks to its simple and clean makeup with a wealth of options for designs. We’ve seen a myriad of takes on the silhouette from a version made with dancers in mind to a collaboration with the artist Kaws and Sacai. Now Nike is using the model to honor the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.
This Nike Blazer Mid takes on a grunge look with a distressed black canvas upper and flaming swooshes on the lateral side of the shoe. Other details include tumbled leather on the medial swooshes and “CLE” and “216,” Cleveland’s area code, stamped on the shoe’s insoles.
The Nike Blazer Mid “Cleveland Rocks” is set to release soon via Nike.com and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
