For their second collaboration, Nike and JACQUEMUS are launching a new silhouette, the J-Force 1, blending the Nike Air Force 1 and ACG Terra.
Last year, the two announced their partnership and released a collection that featured the Nike Air Humara. Nike and JACQUEMUS tweaked the design of the Air Humara by shrinking the medial Swoosh, adding suede to the eyestay, and utilizing premium leathers to suit the standards of the French luxury label, among other things.
When you see the J-Force 1, you’ll quickly be able to point out that the upper belongs to the Nike Air Force 1. From the toebox to the lace charm, liner, and overall shape, it’s clear that the AF1 inspired the new silhouette. Instead of using an Air Force outsole, they used one similar to the Nike ACG Terra, allowing consumers to go wherever life takes them in the sneaker. There’s a gold mini-Swoosh on the J-Force 1 like the previously mentioned Air Humara. Staying true to the Air Force 1, the first two colorways of the J-Force 1 are triple white and triple black.
Both sets of the Nike x JACQUEMUS J-Force 1 will release first at Jacquemus.com on June 13th for $170, with the wider release coming on June 21st via the Nike SNKRS app.
