Raekwon, Diadora, and Foot Locker celebrate Only Built 4 Cuban Linx with the Community Linx initiative, providing rising local music talent with the tools, resources, and knowledge needed to elevate their game.

The Raekwon x Diadora N9002 kicks things off with a universal black & grey colorway, while the NYC-inspired pair in blue & orange releases exclusively at Foot Locker and Champs Sports on January 27 for $120. Both sneakers feature a nylon-suede upper and Raekwon’s signature on the heel.

The next launch will be an ode to Philadelphia, followed by Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Houston. Each will include an assortment of New Era hats tied to that city’s footwear collection. At the same time, each N9002 “Community Linx” program is housed in a custom-designed box featuring city landmarks specific to each market.

Ahead of the  N9002 “NYC” release, Raekwon, Diadora, and Foot Locker, Inc. selected 16 up-and-coming musicians from NYC for an invite-only, four-week beat-making course hosted by producer and DJ, Scram Jones. Each participant will have the opportunity to present their beats to Raekwon and special guest Dave East at a private event at the Foot Locker 181st Street Community Store.

“I concepted Community Linx because I wanted to bring music and sneaker culture together in a meaningful way,” Raekwon said. “I’m thankful that Diadora and Foot Locker, Inc. believed in my vision. Together, we aim to inspire the next generation of music talent by providing them with tools and resources to hone their craft. I can’t wait to hear their work. Every sneaker capsule represents the hustle of each city and hopefully serves as a reminder to keep chasing your dreams.”

“Our latest collaboration with Raekwon is built on a shared commitment to community and passion for music and sport,” Claudio Bora, CEO of Diadora, said. “We’re excited to provide young musicians with an opportunity to gain experience from some of the best artists in the business and each city with a sneaker that celebrates its unique qualities.”

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
