Reebok and the Boston Globe Announce “A Beautiful Resistance” Series Celebrating Black History Month

In celebration of Black History Month, Reebok and the Boston Globe have announced a new multi-media series called A Beautiful Resistance. Through both organizations’ joint efforts, A Beautiful Resistance aims to uplift black voices and stories, highlights the positivity and achievements of black men and women as opposed to injustices and trauma. A variety of editorial pieces and Short films documenting the lives and achievements of contemporary black creators of all mediums are available for free on the Boston Globe’s website.

Further content will be added to the site throughout the month of February with this initial phase being dubbed the first “season ” of the creative partnership. In regards to the partnership’s goals, founder and Boston Globe columnist Jeneé Oster stated: “As we celebrate Black History month, it’s important to ensure we have a Black future. It’s essential to tell our stories of joy, of wellness, of life. Collaborating with Reebok to focus on wellness as a form of resistance, too? It’s powerful. Celebrate Black lives while we’re here.”
