Ronnie Fieg Named Footwear News’ Person of the Year

Ronnie Fieg has been a name that will always make its way within the worlds of sneakers and fashion. From his collabs to the heights that Kith has been able to achieve, Ronnie Fieg is omnipresent.

Footwear News and its annual Footwear News Achievement Awards have named Fieg as its 2021 Person of the Year.

“We found this year’s list of winners particularly inspiring. In a year when so much changed as a result of the pandemic, each winner rose to the occasion, creating new opportunities, defining new fashion to be excited about and bringing a solid burst of momentum to the footwear universe,” said Michael Atmore, editorial director of FN and chief brand officer of Fairchild Media Group.

Fieg shared the news via his Instagram.

“Thank you for this honor and thank you for continuing to keep the love of footwear alive. I’m excited to share this moment with my family, friends, and all the other deserving winners,” he said.
