Key sneaker releases for the week for April 29th- May 5th

This week, an iconic Air Jordan retro finally returns. Plus, the likes of Nike SB and Puma give us a hit of nostalgia in ways we could not have imagined.

Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman JackApril 30th

Travis Scott and Jordan Brand have collaborated on some of the most iconic Jumpman silhouettes over the past few years, including the Air Jordan 1 High OG and Air Jordan 6. Now, Travis is set to debut his very own silhouette in the Sail and Mocha colorway that he made so popular. His inaugural silhouette stays true to his previous work, with the unmistakable backwards swoosh and the Cactus Jack smiley face on the heel. This debut pair is complete with Jumpman Jack-branded packaging and a branded dust bag. The Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack launches on SNKRS on April 30th.

Nike Kobe 8 Protro ‘Mambacita’May 1st

Nike is making it a yearly tradition to honor the memory of Gigi Bryany with a ‘Mambacita’ Kobe release on her birthday. This year’s pair is a Kobe 8 Protro decked out in white, black, and metallic gold. Black butterflies make up the design on the upper, which signifies moving from one life to the next. Metallic gold hits on the swoosh, and Mamba logo contrasts nicely with the black and white and really makes this pair pop. The look is completed with ‘Gigi’ and the number ‘2’ on the heels of this pair. The Nike Kobe 8 Protro ‘Mambacita’ launches on SNKRS on May 1st.

Bode x Nike Astro Grabber May 1st

According to BODE, this collaboration is a celebration of America’s “commitment to sports and recreation as vital to our understanding of virtue, community, and national history.” As a result, BODE went into the Nike vault to release a sneaker that hasn’t been released since the 1970s. The accompanying apparel collection continues that same legacy, as classic sports apparel like jerseys, running shorts and tops, and warm-up jackets are met with BODE’s signature touch. After the BODE early release, the collection will now drop on SNKRS.  The Bode x Nike Collection drops on SNKRS May 1st.

Supreme x Nike SB Darwin Low – May 2nd

First leaked last year, this very out of left field- collaboration between Nike SB and Supreme is an interesting one. Supreme and Nike have taken a basketball sneaker and made it into a skate-ready low top. This occurrence, of course, is natural in streetwear and skate culture, but to see a Darwin with Supreme branding is something no one could have imagined. The Supreme x Nike SB Darwin Low collection releases on Supreme this Thursday.

A$AP Rocky x Puma Inhale OGMay 3rd

The Puma Inhale makes its return this week almost out of nowhere. The shoe was released in 2000 and quickly became a head-turner because of its exaggerated contours and colors. Puma has tapped one of the most influential people in streetwear, A$AP Rocky, to help usher in the return of the runner. The A$AP Rocky x Puma Inhale OG launches on Puma US on May 3rd.

Nike Dunk Low “Ultraman”May 3rd

Another iconic pair of dunks from the iconic 1999 Co.JP pack is releasing this week. As part of Nike’s latest Cult Classics Collection, the Ultraman will be returning for the first time since 2011. The classic dunk colorway is inspired by the popular 1960s Japanese sci-fi franchise of the same name. Fans surely will not miss the chance to beam themselves into a pair of this historic sneaker. Air Jordan 4 ‘Military Blue’May 4th

Finally, the long-coveted, long-anticipated Air Jordan 4 Military Blue makes its return. Color controversy aside, this Air Jordan retro will be the first time it returns since 2012. Even more than that, this 2024 retro will be the closest to the 1989 original, with the shade of blue and shape resembling the OG pair more than either of the other two retros. This classic sneaker will finally hit shelves this upcoming weekend in what will without a doubt be one of the biggest launches of the year for Jordan Brand. The Air Jordan 4 ‘Military Blue’ launches on SNKRS on May 4th.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
