There’s been some mixed opinions on the women’s Air Jordan IV “Shimmer” colorway that was released this weekend, but don’t be fooled – this sold out quickly and is a great sneaker to have on rotation. Some have minimized this to an accessible alternative to last year’s Off/White “Sail” release but that doesn’t do this sneaker justice. It’s a good shoe on its own, and while it shares some similarities to the OW4, it is also reminiscent of the “Hender Scheme” IVs from years ago.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see this pair find its way onto Instagram moodboards, a pattern we’ve seen with past women’s releases that have flown under the radar. Don’t rush to cop on the aftermarket though, this is a sneaker that is likely to restock in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our monitors to ensure you don’t miss out.
