After teasing them earlier this year, Yoon Ahn and AMBUSH are finally gearing up to release the AMBUSH X Nike Air Adjust Force soon. The Air Adjust Force was a late ‘90s hit being worn by basketball programs like the University of North Carolina and Maryland amongst others. Though the Air Adjust was a cult classic thanks to its interchangeable straps it hadn’t seen a retro release until AMBUSH returned to the sneaker.
The sneaker mostly stays true to its original build except for the addition of the recycled Nike Grind rubber outsole. The sneaker will initially release in two colorways Black and White though others have been spotted. The biggest draw of the sneaker of course is the signature removable midfoot shroud with the strap. The left heel strap enclosure, right heel, and insoles are the only portions of the sneaker to feature AMBUSH branding making it a lower-key affair.
The AMBUSH X Nike Air Adjust Force in “Black” and “White” are scheduled to release on August 19th via Nike and select retailers. A retail price tag of $210 has been set for the sneaker. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
