Since sneaker twitter insists on being wrong again here are some facts.
The 1st of every month is generally a placeholder date for flow release product, GR releases and release date holds for shoes that will drop that month.
The Travis Scott 270 does not have a set date yet and likely has shown up as May 1st on some calendars. Hence the internet thinking it will drop Friday.
The Travis 270 has been showing up on my calendar every month since March. It’s not on my May calendar. What is on my May calendar is the clothing that’s coming with this collection.
The clothing is currently scheduled for May 14th. This is a Thursday and a more realistic drop date as it gives Nike/Jordan one day cushion before the AJ4 metallic pack releases globally.
As I wrote this I texted a store about a possible release date and was told “I think it got pushed back” so it might be the last week in May or first week in June.
Travis Scott’s website will for sure release them early, even when that does happen we will have you covered and give as much notice as we can. On top of that, I again expect him to do some kind of raffle.
