From what I’ve heard from a few people now, the Travis Scott site did a very good job of filtering fake entries, bots, multiples etc. I looked around as well and did not see much success happen in one cluster. I think they also filtered out all non US based IPs which means not one Canadian hit from home. I’m unsure if a VPN would have passed their strict filters or not, but we’ll have to try that next time.
Stock:
Based on the low success rate I am seeing everywhere, I would imagine the stock was very low which is why they did the raffle. FCFS even with anti-bot would likely have been a tough purchase. I personally would rather have tried myself and had control over it. The frustrating part about the raffle is the lack of communication from them and waiting around today also sucked.
Going forward:
We’ll obviously be covering this release closely all week. I saw nikesbornothing account posted their would be no SNKRS drop. When your source is a skateshop I can’t take you seriously. So for now expect SNKRS as well because Nike likes making 100% profits on shoes.
