The HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low “Cities Pack” was one of last year’s best releases. The sneaker paid homage to the previous Nike SB Dunk High Pro collaboration with its hidden quarter panels while honoring the late great Keith Hufnagel, who tragically passed in 2020. The sneaker came in two colorways: one, a black and white version that honored San Francisco, Hufnagel’s home since 2002, and the other, a white and blue version that honored NYC, where Keith was born and raised. The sneaker came in a blind bag, making a surprise of which iteration you bought.

EQL aims to revolutionize high-demand product launches by empowering brands to manage the chaos while ensuring real fans get a fair shot at the products they love. Its features include helping prevent site crashes, blocking bots and scammers, streamlining payments and processing, and delivering insights to help retailers improve the customer experience. EQL has worked on releases for Nike, FootLocker, Crocs, and others. Hopefully, more retailers will continue to explore ways to help sneakerheads get the kicks they want fairly.
