The Vans footwear archive is expansive as it is impactful.
There’s no better example than the Half Cab. Born out of skaters using duct tape and scissors to cut down high tops, the Half Cab became a staple for the Anaheim-based brand. Since then, the silhouette has been a prominent choice of footwear for the skating community and even for the sneaker community at large with collaborations through the years. Celebrations are in order with the new year here as the Half Cab celebrates three decades of excellence.
The all-new Vans Skate Half Cab ’92 taps into the Half Cab’s skate origins. The model features a new sidewall finish, checkerboard flag, and “Skateboarding” branding. The pair also includes a fully revised upper with a molded heel counter, locked-in tongue straps, and a recut of the DURACAP™ underlay for a more breathable and durable fit.
The Vans Skate Half Cab ’92 in blue and taupe are available now on Vans.com and select Vans retailers. Both colorways retail for $75.
