After 25 years at the company, Ann Hebert, the VP/GM of Nike North America has stepped down from her position. This news comes shortly after an article published by Bloomberg last week noted that her son is the well-known sneaker reseller Joe Hebert of @west.coast.streetwear. The article makes claims that WCS never used its mother’s ties to the Swoosh to obtain insider information, shoes, or discount for his business’ benefit. The article went viral on social media in which several users did in fact allege that WCS benefitted from its connections to the now-former Nike executive. As of this writing, neither the Heberts nor Nike have confirmed that the Bloomberg article was the catalyst in the former VP/GM’s decision.
