Women’s Air Jordan 1 High Zoom “Hyper Royal” Releasing This Year

An adventurous update on the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom is slated to arrive later this year as a Jordan Women’s exclusive. Clad in a Hyper Royal/Black/White colorway, a full-length Zoom Air Zoom unit is hidden inside the midsole, allowing for an elevated level of comfort without changing the DNA of the original hightop basketball shoe too much. Steel rivets are added throughout the perimeter of the shoe resulting in a slightly more punk aesthetic on the classic shoe. Other deviations from the formula include two-toned black/blue laces that match the color blocking of the shoe as well as exposed foam on the ankle collar and tongue. A white, textile Swoosh matches the materials used on the ankle collar as well. A redesigned tongue tag is also used for the first time on the AJ1 Zoom implementing a circular shaped, blue/black logo instead.
