adidas continues to honor the Black Mamba, releasing a Los Angeles Lakers-themed Top Ten 2010 this fall.
Kobe Bryant was previously an adidas athlete before he departed the company and became a free agent. In 1996, adidas offered the Lower Merion High School graduate a sneaker deal, and after six years, their contract expired in 2002.
Almost two years ago, we reported that adidas Basketball was reviving the Kobe signature line, and since then, we’ve seen re-releases of the adidas Crazy 1 and the Crazy 97 EQT. Retros aside, adidas has a new Kobe-inspired silhouette on the way, the Crazy IIInfinity, blending the Crazy 1, 2, and unreleased Crazy 3.
The upcoming adidas Top Ten has a white base accented by the Los Angeles purple and gold. Staying true to the original, the fan-favorite Freddy the Foot returns to wrap the heel, and the silhouette retains its shape with the chunky, wavy outsole.
Expect the adidas Top Ten 2010 to release before the year comes to a close. If you’re looking for a daily, neutral colorway, check out the upcoming core black model.
