New Balance continues to celebrate its historic 990 with its recent “MADE 990 Version” series. Starting with the OG 990, the series aims to celebrate the 990 and all of its versions ahead of the shoe’s 40th anniversary.
Sticking true to the brand’s heritage, the shoe is dressed in the classic grey hue we’ve associated with the brand for so long. To commemorate the shoe and its celebratory series, a red ruby tag symbolizing the 40th anniversary is found on the upper of the pair. Other details of the shoe are draped in ruby further expressing the 40th anniversary.
The 990v3 arrives at the perfect time as KITH, Bodega, Joe Freshgoods, and others are bringing their own flavor on the reissue of the classic.
The New Balance 990v3 “MADE 990 Version” reportedly releases in Canada on September 10 and will be followed by a wider release at a later date. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
