(Updated) Courts Order Warren Lotas To Cease Selling Nike Lookalikes

(UPDATE December 3rd, 2020): Court documents reveal that Lotas sold approximately $10.8M USD of his now-infamous bootlegs before Nike stepped in. ~36,000 orders were made with about 29,000 having been refunded and 7,000 awaiting news about the replacement “Reaper” shoe.

(UPDATE November 20th, 2020): As reported via Complex, California courts have ordered Warren Lotas to cease all production of his Nike Dunk knockoffs, including the newly revealed “Reaper” silhouette. All of Nike’s demands in the lawsuit were granted except for the requirement that Lotas hold all funds made in escrow before refunding customers.

(UPDATE November 5th, 2020): Warren Lotas claims they will now be countersuing Nike in regards to the Dunk trademark. Lotas also states that refunds for the canceled Pigeon Dunk knockoffs are being processed. There was no further update given as to whether the Reaper shoes will still be offered as replacements. Nike has entered into further legal measures against Warren Lotas, this time in regards to his recently announced Reaper sneakers. Lotas revealed three colorways of the Reaper, each of which continued to use recognizable aspects of the original shoe in question, the Dunk Low from Nike. These additional legal measures come in the wake of an earlier lawsuit that saw Nike sue WL over the “Pigeon Dunk” concept he infringed upon. This was followed by a preliminary injunction asking the courts to cease WL’s production of his knockoff and freeze all profits gained from it. Lotas replied to the injunction by offering those who pre-ordered the “Pigeon” shoe either a refund or your choice of 1 of 3 WL Reaper shoes, as well as a free “lawsuit” parody t-shirt. It is currently not known what additional action Nike will take next in regards to the Reaper.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
