There is a steadily growing interest in the AJKO Low, and the demand has been heard. The AJKO Low is here to stay as Jordan Brand looks to add a “Kentucky” colorway into the mix, possibly pulling from Nike’s “Be True To Your School” Dunk campaign.
It makes a lot of sense for JB to continue to tap into the AJKO market. The company has only released three colorways of the AJKO since 2021 – Chicago, Storm Blue, and Syracuse – and they have all been sellouts.
On top of that, Jordan Brand feels good coming off the massive success of their last AJKO project with Union. UNLA collaborated with Jordan Brand – not once, but twice – to create the first-ever low-top rendition of the Air Jordan 1 KO. It’ll be interesting to see who steps up and tries their hand with the silhouette next.
Until then, we can enjoy unofficial pictures of the Kentucky-dressed AJKO Low.
